Rhodes to Wellness Coaching
Applies to Root Cause Therapy, Coaching, Equine Wellbeing Sessions and the Equimotional Coaches Course
Last updated: September 2026
Rhodes to Wellness Coaching provides Root Cause Therapy and coaching sessions, Equine Wellbeing Sessions, and the Equimotional Coaches Course.
These Terms & Conditions apply to anyone engaging with Rhodes to Wellness Coaching as a client or course student.
By booking a session, purchasing a package, enrolling in the Equimotional Coaches Course, or otherwise engaging with these services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and any additional policies that apply to the service you are participating in.
My intention is to provide a respectful, supportive and choice-based environment where you can participate at a pace that feels appropriate for you.
You are never required to share personal information, disclose trauma, or participate in an activity that you are not comfortable with.
Consent is ongoing. You can ask questions, pause, change your mind, or choose not to participate.
Root Cause Therapy and coaching sessions are provided on an individual basis and may include approaches such as Root Cause Therapy, embodied or somatic processing, nervous system education and other approaches within my training and scope of practice.
These services are intended to support personal growth, self-awareness and wellbeing.
They are not a substitute for emergency services, medical care, psychiatric care, or regulated mental health treatment.
You are responsible for seeking appropriate medical or mental health support when this is needed.
Equine Wellbeing Sessions are in-person, non-riding sessions involving guided interaction and observation with horses.
Activities may include observing horses, walking alongside them, grooming, or other appropriate activities depending on the session, the environment and the horses' wellbeing.
Horse behaviour can be unpredictable and interaction with horses carries inherent risks. Participants are expected to follow reasonable safety instructions and the Equine Safety & Horse Welfare Guidelines.
A Safety Waiver must be signed and agreed to before participating in an Equine Wellbeing Session.
Horse welfare takes priority. A session or activity may be changed, paused or cancelled when necessary for the safety or wellbeing of the participant, the horses or others present.
The Equimotional Coaches Course is an educational and professional development programme delivered online through live Zoom classes.
The course is designed to provide education and training in Equimotional coaching principles and related areas.
The course is not personal therapy, counselling, crisis intervention, medical treatment, or a substitute for professional mental health care.
Students are not required to disclose personal trauma or other private experiences as part of the course.
Additional expectations regarding participation, professional boundaries, online learning and student conduct are outlined in the relevant course policies.
Bookings and enrolments are confirmed once the required payment or deposit has been received.
For individual sessions and packages, payment is due according to the arrangements agreed at the time of booking.
For the Equimotional Coaches Course, payment arrangements, deposits and payment plans are outlined during enrolment.
A course payment plan is a method of paying the agreed course fee and is not a month-to-month subscription. Withdrawal from the course does not automatically cancel payment obligations agreed at enrolment, subject to applicable consumer rights and the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Our Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to all three areas of the business, with specific provisions for individual sessions, Equine Wellbeing Sessions and the Equimotional Coaches Course.
Please provide at least 24 hours' notice if you need to reschedule.
If paying per session, sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice will incur a 50% session fee.
If you have purchased a package, the session will generally be forfeited.
Genuine emergencies will be considered at my discretion.
The same 24-hour cancellation and rescheduling expectations apply.
If a session needs to be cancelled by Rhodes to Wellness Coaching because of weather, safety concerns, horse welfare, or other circumstances outside the participant's control, the session will be rescheduled where possible without additional cost.
Course deposits, cancellations, transfers, refunds and withdrawals are addressed in the Refund & Cancellation Policy and the Course Terms & Conditions.
Rhodes to Wellness Coaching maintains professional boundaries with clients and students.
This includes appropriate communication, confidentiality, consent, financial boundaries and respectful interactions.
Services are provided within my professional training, competence and scope of practice.
I may recommend another professional or service when a person's needs fall outside what I am appropriately able to provide.
Personal information shared with Rhodes to Wellness Coaching will be treated with care and handled in accordance with the Privacy & Data Policy and applicable privacy legislation.
Confidentiality may have limits where disclosure is required or permitted by law, or where there is a serious and immediate safety or safeguarding concern.
Course participants should also understand that a group learning environment cannot provide the same level of privacy as a one-to-one session. Students are expected to respect the confidentiality of other participants.
Rhodes to Wellness Coaching is committed to maintaining a safe environment for clients, students, horses and others involved in our services.
Safeguarding concerns will be responded to appropriately and, where necessary, may involve sharing information with relevant authorities or emergency services.
Further information is available in the Safeguarding Policy.
Participants are responsible for informing Rhodes to Wellness Coaching about any relevant circumstances that may affect their safe participation.
For Equine Wellbeing Sessions, participants must follow reasonable safety instructions and wear appropriate clothing and footwear, including closed-toe sturdy footwear.
For online services and the course, participants are responsible for having a suitable environment that allows them to participate safely and privately where reasonably possible.
Rhodes to Wellness Coaching may pause, modify or end an activity where there is a significant safety concern.
Course materials provided as part of the Equimotional Coaches Course are intended for the enrolled student's personal educational use.
Materials may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, shared, recorded, sold or used to teach others without appropriate permission.
Students must also respect the intellectual property of any third-party materials used within the course.
Completion of the Equimotional Coaches Course is subject to the course requirements communicated to students.
Where applicable, certificates are issued in accordance with the requirements of the course and the relevant accreditation arrangements.
Completion of a course delivered by a Sub-Educator does not automatically mean that a student is individually accredited by IPHM. Any separate accreditation or membership requirements are the responsibility of the student.
All clients and students are expected to communicate respectfully.
Rhodes to Wellness Coaching does not tolerate harassment, bullying, discrimination, threatening behaviour, abusive communication, or behaviour that compromises the safety or wellbeing of others.
Where appropriate, participation or services may be paused or ended when respectful professional boundaries cannot be maintained.
I welcome concerns and feedback and will make reasonable efforts to address them fairly and respectfully.
Clients & students may use the Complaints Procedure.
Complaints will be handled as confidentially as reasonably possible and without retaliation.
A client or student may choose to pause or end their participation, subject to any applicable payment, cancellation or refund terms.
Rhodes to Wellness Coaching may also pause or end services where:
the person's needs fall outside my scope of practice;
there are significant safety or safeguarding concerns;
professional boundaries cannot be maintained;
respectful communication cannot be maintained; or
continuing the service would not be appropriate or beneficial.
Where reasonably possible, appropriate notice or referral information will be provided.
These Terms & Conditions may be updated from time to time to reflect changes to services, policies, legal requirements or professional standards.
The version in effect at the time of booking or enrolment will generally apply to that service, subject to any changes required by law.
These Terms & Conditions should be read alongside the policies relevant to the service you are participating in:
