How do I know?
I too am a trauma survivor. For years I battled a low self esteem and low self worth because of what I went through. I could not shake the baggage I was carrying and this affected my health. I developed anxiety, depression and was even diagnosed with PTSD. I felt like I was carrying around the jains of a jailer. I found myself unable to focus, get a full nights sleep or find any joy in my life. It was then that I started my journey of healing.
By seeing Professionals and healing my past pains I was finally able to break free! I felt such a deep sense of freedom, overall lightness and love for myself. I realized that my poor self image was soley built by those who had abused me in the past. They didn't know me. Not really. How could they possibly be able to tell me who I was and be speaking the truth? Guess what? They couldn't. :)
With my own past journey in mind I have developed a coaching package that is spanned over six sessions. My focus is you feeling safe as we explore your past, see how that has shaped you and then I walk with you as you let past be.
We start off by doing an initial intake where I get to know a bit about you, and you of me. Then in our following sessions we will examine how you feel about different areas of your life, take a look at any triggers, learning coping skills, restructure the areas that cause you stress and anxiety, set goals, explore your personal boundaries, examine anything that is holding you back & build your support system. We can exchange unlimited emails between sessions so that you can receive all of the support that you need.
The first three of six sessions are weekly and the last three are bi-weekly as you practice the work you have done.
